Little Star Enterprises is based in Kildalkey, Co Meath. It is ran by me, John Fleming, a Dub who is now proud to call Kildalkey home. The company is named after my beautiful daughter Réailtín, who passed away in January 2024 one week shy of her 8th birthday. Given just months to live when she was born, she defied all the odds and battled a multitude of issues to survive as long as she did and she brought much joy to this doting Dad. Being her full time carer was the best ‘job’ I ever had.
She was looked after by many others too and it was an attempt to give payback to one of the charities who had helped us that set me on this path. I put together a Pub Quiz in Fagan’s Village Inn, with the help of my good friend Ronan O’Connor, and the reaction to it was amazing. This quickly led to a monthly Quiz, weekly Bingo, Music Bingo and more besides. Kildalkey locals seem to be very enthusiastic about what I do – now it’s time to bring it to other parts.
